Autumn Candles

Nothing says autumn like scented candles! I love candles I put them all over the house and make everything smell great and they are perfect for setting the mood I mean who doesn't want to just get nice and cozy in a great smelling room. I cant even walk into bath and body works without picking up some candles they have the best scents just saying :)

What says Autumn more than a candle that's Autumn scented? ..... nothing! This candle smells so nice and fresh, kind of like freshly washed clothes or just like fresh air its great for any room and its very subtle it doesn't overpower the room.

This is a stronger scented candle and it has kind of a citrus type of smell it smells great and just fills the room with a scent that just makes you hungry for apple pie. This candle is perfect for the fall but you can easily use it all year long because of the fruity fresh smell.

I saved the best for last! This candle is my favorite Bath & Body Works candle its amazing! Im really sad they don have them all year round and when I went the store this was the last one in stock so im guessing a lot of people agree that its one of the best candles. It smells delicious, very fruity yet very fresh and light its a scent that just fills your house and its a very natural scent it doesn't smell like gross air freshener.

...... I'm back!! I'm sorry I haven't been around much, I started this blog and completely gave up on it I tried my best to post things but as school and life got more hectic it was just impossible for me to sit down and take a moment to write or post anything. I wouldn't want to just post any random thing I like to take my time and make my blog good for you guys so I just thought I wont post anything till I have the time to actually post something interesting and helpful to my readers. Shirts with collars

I'm sure that many of you are aware the collared shirt trend is very popular, Stores like Forever 21, H&M, Top Shop and many many more are just flooded with these shirts.

But I'm not complaining! I absolutely love this style, I feel like it adds a touch of elegance yet still keeps it casual and fun. My personal favorites are the ones with gems or small items like spikes and tiny animals on them, also the ones with the sailor collars, I'm not a huge fan of the plain collars unless the shirt has a nice pattern or a more whimsical design.

You can style these shirts with some lose satin shorts or some harem pants for a more dressed up look, Or with some jeans for a more casual look.

Completely Bare Hair Removal Review

I will always prefer waxing instead of plucking, I mean who wants to hurt multiple times and take longer when it can be fast and easy?

The only problem with waxing is that I have very sensitive skin so it irritates my skin sometimes, I'm always looking for new products that are natural and good for your skin.

This product is really great and it makes your skin so nice, I also find that it doesn't hurt as much as other waxes do.

The wax is super easy to use just warm up and apply, it comes in a small pot and all you need to do is microwave it.

The heating process is fast but depending on your microwave you may need to heat it up more or less.

It only took me 3 minutes to warm mine up.

Then you just apply and wait about 30 seconds for it to harden up and simply peel it off really fast, you don't need any wax strips or special cloth, Which I love because I'm always running out of those before I even run out of wax.

The only thing I don't love about this wax is that it gets hard pretty fast so you have to heat it up a little every 10 or so minutes, but that's a very small price to pay for great wax!

 The kit comes with these wipes that you can use to clean up any excess wax from your face or area you waxed.

They smell like lavender and they have special oils.

I do wish the kit came with a few more but overall the kit is really great.  

This kit was only $13 and I bought it at CVS, you can use it multiple times and for almost any surface.

This brand also has other products for hair removal.

I strongly suggest it!

This year instead of waiting around for someone special to give me a gift i decided to just buy lots of gifts for my friends and family, because giving is better than receiving right?

Well it turns out that a lot of us had the same motto this year because we all ended up buying our friends and family gifts, they were small gifts nothing too fancy but its the thought that counts.

So we all had a wonderful dinner and opened our gifts, it was so special and just a good time.

I'm glad that this valentines day turned out the way it did and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I hope you all had a wonderful day and spent it with the people you love.

January Faves

In the cold months I like to use foundation I feel like it makes my skin look refreshed and moisturized. During the hotter months I hate foundation because its just to heavy on my skin. I also find myself using darker shades in the fall and winter, during the summer I like lighter shades or a more natural look.

These are just a few of my favorites for the month.

1. Maybelline FIT me foundation in 110: 

This is a wonderful foundation and it has spf so it protects your skin, its very light and wont clog your skin, but its also a very good cover up.

2. Maybelline FIT me concealer in 10:

I absolutely love this concealer, Its the only concealer I use. It covers up amazingly and its so light and blends perfectly, I use this without any foundation because it covers so well. 

3. Maybelline One By One mascara in satin black:

I really like this mascara it makes my lashes look very full without any clumps.

4. Ulta eye shadows:

I actually got these for free when I bought some brushes but I love them, the colors are great and they are very pigmented, they blend great and last a long time.

5. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion:

This is an amazing product, If you use eye shadows a lot I highly recommend you get this, It makes your eye shadows last longer and it also enhances the colors, they look brighter and true to their color.

6. N.Y.X. black and white eyeliner pencils:

I don't use eyeliner pencils often, I prefer liquid liner but these are very nice, the colors are amazing and they don't smudge.

7. Love & Beauty lip glosses from Forever 21:

These are really cute and go on like a gloss but after the gloss is gone the color remains on the lips like a tint. I love them for adding a small amount of color, or just as a light gloss. I love that these come with an expiration date on the back so I know exactly when its time to get new one.

Those are my monthly favorites for the month of January, Like every makeup lover I have a lot more favorites and almost everything is a favorite for me but these are my top favorites.

2012

2012 was one of the hardest years for me, But when i look back at 2012 I don't look at it with regret, I look at it as a challenge that I was able to overcome, I am so proud of myself and of the things I was able to do in 2012.

Its clear that 2011 was not my year, I was spiraling out of control, So much damage was done emotionally and I was a wreck, I didn't want to know about anyone or anything, I didn't want to leave my house, everything was just falling apart. I knew I had to make some changes in my life and I just could live that way anymore, so 2012 was the year to do it, and I did.

In 2012 I had lots of adventures, I said yes to a lot of new things and I let go of a lot of my fears and worries, I also started hanging out with my old best friend and I am just so lucky that I was able to do so because I really had missed her. 2012 was very challenging for me and it was not easy at first to escape the dark place I was in, but somehow I managed, and im very lucky and happy that I did.

I hope that 2013 will be a better year and I am always trying o better myself, my new year resolutions are:

Be healthier

I know people always say they want to be healthy and most end up not sticking to it, but I think its because they set unrealistic goals for themselves, like "I will never eat chocolate again" so my resolution is not to be 100% healthy, but to choose better options like fruit instead of candy and so on.

Say yes 

Sometimes we miss out on amazing things because we say no or we are close minded, so one of my resolutions is to say yes to more things, and to be more open minded to new things and adventures because life is short and I don't want to miss anything.

Enjoy the small things

I feel like I am very lucky person and that I have lots of really amazing things to be thankful for, so one of my resolutions is enjoy them, and to not be so consumed in the materialistic and to just take a moment to enjoy the things that we usually don't.

Dont worry

I always worry about everything, things that people don't even think about ill be a nervous wreck over, so this year I will do my best to just let things be, I don't need to constantly be worried about everything.

Blog more

I used to enjoy blogging a lot, I was part of 4 different blogs a few years ago, then I had school and real life to deal with so my blogging just went out the window and id really like to come back to the blogging world and just enjoy it and have a good time.

So there you have it, my quick 2012 recap and my 2013 goals and resolutions, I hope that I can keep them and I can continue to improve and just live life to the fullest.

New Camera

I got this tiny adorable camera today, The Nikon S01, Its a touch screen and it takes pretty good pictures, It does not zoom in as much as id like it to but it does take nice pictures, plus it fits anywhere because it so small.

I love this camera but it still cant replace my other Nikon.

Mini Makeup Review

For the longest time I didn't have eyeliner because I couldn't find one that didn't smudge or run, I found the L'oreal Paris Telescopic Eye Liner at Target by accident and I thought I would give it a try, I instantly fell in love with it, it goes on really well and the tip of the brush is angled so its easy to create a cat eye, never runs but when you do want it to come off it comes off clean. My only complaint about this product is that it does dry kind of fast so try not to leave it uncapped for a long time, but other than that, this is really an amazing eye liner and i highly recommend getting it.

So the second item I'm reviewing today is the E.O.S Smooth Sphere Lip Balm, I also found this at Target, I got the Strawberry Sorbet one. In the winter my lips get really dry because of the cold weather and not a lot of lip products help, But i found that this one works really well, It helps with chapped lips and makes them really soft and smooth. They come in these little round pod-like shapes which are super cute and they smell amazing, The only con is that sometimes I do want to put it in my pocket and because its round I cant. I got this lip balm for winter but I will totally be using it all year long.

I just wanted to do this quick review n these two items because they really were amazing and I was very exited to share them, But I will be doing a full haul soon.

Yuuuuuum

Went to red robins today, its been super cold and everywhere you go everything is very busy and so many people are shopping, the lines are crazy long, its like black Friday! So it was nice to just be warm and enjoy some good food. Right after we ate, we went shopping for a bit and got a few things for the new years eve party, a few shirts and a dress, Ill probably make a post on a few items of clothes later. Hopefully the cold calms down a bit, but even with the cold this time of year is just wonderful.
